- Peel and slice the yellow onions into thin rings, about ¼ inch thick.
- Drizzle cooking oil over the onion rings and toss them to coat evenly.
- Place the onion rings in the air fryer basket and set to 300°F (150°C) for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, lower the temperature to 240°F (120°C) and continue cooking for an additional 15 to 18 minutes.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
