Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, combine 1 packet of active dry yeast, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and ¾ cup of warm water. Mix gently and let sit for about 10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 3 cups of flour, 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Add the yeast mixture, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Lightly flour your work surface and knead the dough for 3-5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  4. After rising, punch the dough down and divide into 10 pieces. Shape each piece into a circle about ¼ inch thick.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 370°F. Place 2 to 3 naan in the basket and cook for 6 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 3 minutes until lightly browned.
  6. Remove from air fryer and immediately brush with a mixture of melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Serve warm.
