- In a small bowl, mix the active dry yeast, sugar, and warm water. Let sit for about 10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, milk, yogurt, oil, and minced garlic. Stir in the yeast mixture until a ball of dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 3 minutes until smooth. Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 10 pieces. Roll each piece into a disc about 1/4 inch thick.
- Preheat your air fryer to 370°F for about 5 minutes.
- Place the naan in the air fryer in a single layer. Cook for 6 minutes, flip, and cook for another 3 minutes.
- Immediately brush with garlic butter after cooking.
