- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, frozen mixed vegetables, chicken broth, and milk. Add garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Pour the filling mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir in melted butter and milk until just combined.
- Spoon the batter over the filling, covering most of the surface.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the topping turns golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
