  3. Stir in 2 teaspoons of granulated sugar into the hot tea until dissolved.
  4. Measure out 3/4 cup of milk and heat it over medium heat until steam rises but not boiling.
  5. Whip the heated milk with a whisk or milk frother until frothy and bubbly.
  6. Pour the frothy milk into the mug with your chai mixture, stirring gently.
