  2. Carefully strain the infusion into your mug, discarding the orange peel and cinnamon stick. Add the black tea bag or loose-leaf tea and steep for 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in 2 teaspoons of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract while the tea is still hot.
  4. Gently heat 1 cup of whole milk over low heat until warm. Pour it into the brewed tea, stirring to combine.
