Preparation Steps
- In a small bowl, whisk together ½ cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons Sriracha, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, and ½ teaspoon onion powder until smooth and well-combined.
- On a shallow plate, pour in about ½ cup of all-purpose flour, spreading it out evenly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the remaining 1 cup of flour with ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper, ½ teaspoon cumin, ½ teaspoon black pepper, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, and ½ teaspoon onion powder. Gradually whisk in 1 cup of beer until the mixture is just combined.
- In a heavy, deep pot or Dutch oven, heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 375°F.
- Take each fresh green bean and roll it in the prepared flour, ensuring it’s fully coated. Shake off any excess flour before dipping the bean into the beer batter.
- Carefully place the battered green beans into the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pot.
- Once the fried green beans are crispy and golden, use a slotted spoon to transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels, allowing excess oil to drain away.

Notes
For best results, serve fried green beans immediately after frying as they taste best when hot and crispy, paired with your zesty Sriracha mayo.
