Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9x13" baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean; allow to cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled brownies into a large mixing bowl.
- Mix in ½ cup of chocolate frosting until thick and cohesive.
- Gently fold in ¼ cup of crushed candy canes.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
- Melt the Ghirardelli chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals until smooth.
- Dip each brownie ball into the melted chocolate and place back on the cookie sheet.
- Sprinkle with the remaining crushed candy canes while the coating is still wet.
- Allow to set at room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving.
