  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Frosting Store-bought or homemade.
  • 12 oz Ghirardelli Melting Chocolate Almond bark works as a substitute.
  • 1 cup Candy Canes (crushed) Crush in a zip lock bag.
For the Topping
  • 1/2 cup Extra Crushed Candy Canes For sprinkling on top.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9x13" baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean; allow to cool completely.
  4. Crumble the cooled brownies into a large mixing bowl.
  5. Mix in ½ cup of chocolate frosting until thick and cohesive.
  6. Gently fold in ¼ cup of crushed candy canes.
  7. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
  8. Melt the Ghirardelli chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals until smooth.
  9. Dip each brownie ball into the melted chocolate and place back on the cookie sheet.
  10. Sprinkle with the remaining crushed candy canes while the coating is still wet.
  11. Allow to set at room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving.
