Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined, then fold in cherries.
  5. In a small bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the streusel; cut in butter until crumbly.
  6. Fill muffin cups ¾ full with batter and sprinkle streusel topping on each muffin.
