Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter and maple syrup. Stir until smooth, about 2 minutes.
- Gradually add in rolled oats, stirring continuously until coated and distributed evenly, about 2-3 minutes.
- Prepare molds and portion out the oat mixture, pressing down firmly. Fill each mold about 2/3 full, aim for 12 cups, about 5 minutes.
- Spoon a dollop of peanut butter on top of each cup. Optionally mix in protein powder.
- Place filled molds in the freezer for about 20 minutes to set.
- Melt chocolate chips with a drizzle of coconut oil in intervals until fully melted, about 1-2 minutes.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over each cup. This step takes about 5 minutes.
- Return the cups to the freezer for another 20 minutes to set the chocolate.
- Remove from molds, sprinkle with sea salt, and serve. Can be stored in the fridge or freezer.
