- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil, and cook ground beef for 6-8 minutes until browned. Season with salt and pepper and drain excess fat.

- Sprinkle onion powder and Cajun seasoning over beef and garlic, stir to combine and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add uncooked rice and beef broth, stir well, and bring to a gentle boil.
- Once boiling, reduce heat to simmer, cover, and cook for 18-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
