Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and heat a pizza stone if using.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions, salt, and sugar. Cook for 20-25 minutes until caramelized.
  3. Roll out pizza dough to a round shape, about 12 inches in diameter, and transfer to a greased baking sheet or pizza stone.
  4. Brush a thin layer of olive oil over the dough.
  5. Spread caramelized onions evenly over the dough.
  6. Crumble goat cheese and sprinkle mozzarella and thyme over the onions.
  7. Drizzle balsamic vinegar and honey gently across the toppings.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  9. Top with fresh arugula and drizzle with olive oil. Allow to cool briefly before slicing.
  10. Slice and serve warm.
