  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, combine ground beef and ground hot sausage, breaking apart as it cooks for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  2. While the meat is cooking, cube Velveeta cheese into small pieces for smooth melting.
  3. Drain excess grease from the skillet to keep the filling rich but not overly greasy.
  4. Return the skillet to low heat, stir in the cubed Velveeta cheese until melted, then add Worcestershire sauce, oregano, garlic salt, and salt to taste, mixing until bubbling.
  5. Preheat the broiler, line a baking sheet with slices of party rye bread.
