Step-by-Step Instructions for Hot Cocoa Cookies
  1. In a large mixing bowl, melt chocolate and butter together, stirring until smooth. Mix in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until glossy.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients.
  3. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Scoop rounded portions of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
