Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan with oil or parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and optional cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mix wet ingredients: pumpkin puree, water, oil (or almond butter), and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine wet ingredients into dry mixture and stir gently to create a batter.
  5. Spread the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top.
  6. Bake for about 40 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
