Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Process Wafers: Start by emptying 2 cups of Nilla Wafers into a food processor. Pulse until the crumbs are fine and resemble sand, about 30 seconds. Set aside in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In the bowl with the Nilla Wafer crumbs, add 1 cup of chopped walnuts, ½ cup of almonds, 1 cup of confectioner's sugar, and ¼ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder. Pour in 1 cup of Nutella and ¼ cup of Amaretto, and mix until incorporated.
  3. Chill Mixture: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  4. Form Balls: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls using about 1 tablespoon each. If too crumbly, add more Amaretto.
  5. Coat and Chill: Roll each Booze Ball in coconut if desired, then chill for 1 to 2 hours to set completely.
