Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, place 8 oz of softened cream cheese, 1 cup of powdered sugar, the zest of one fresh orange, and 2 tablespoons of fresh orange juice. Using an electric mixer, beat on medium speed for 2–3 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, gently melt 1 cup of white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring frequently until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Slowly pour the cooled melted white chocolate into the cream cheese mixture while stirring constantly with a spatula.
  4. Cover the mixing bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 1 to 2 hours until firm.
  5. Using a small cookie scoop, portion out the mixture and roll into bite-sized balls. Place on a parchment-lined tray.
  6. Melt additional candy melts in your preferred color, dip each truffle into the melted candy melts to coat.
  7. Sprinkle tops with fresh orange zest, powdered sugar, or candied orange peels for garnish.
