  2. In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Make a well in the dry ingredients, then add mashed potatoes, melted butter, and warmed milk. Stir until a sticky dough forms.
  4. Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead gently for about 5 minutes.
  5. Shape into a round disc about an inch thick and score the top with a shallow ‘X’ pattern.
  6. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
