For the Rolls
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder For brushing.
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Melted.
  • 4 pieces Toasted Rolls (such as ciabatta or brioche) Choose sturdy rolls.
For the Finish
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese Melts beautifully.

Method
 

Directions
  1. Start by placing fresh chicken breasts at the bottom of your slow cooker. Pour low-sodium chicken broth evenly over the chicken.
  2. Next, sprinkle freshly grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and your chosen dried herbs over the chicken.
  3. Cover the slow cooker with its lid and set it to LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
  4. Once cooked, carefully transfer the chicken to a plate using tongs. Shred the chicken using two forks.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Melt butter and mix in garlic powder. Brush this on the insides of your rolls and toast for about 5 minutes.
  6. Generously pile the shredded chicken into the toasted rolls, topping them with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Pop the assembled sandwiches under the broiler for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melty and bubbly.
