- Activate the yeast by combining warm water, sugar, and instant yeast in a mixing bowl. Allow to sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- Combine the dry ingredients: bread flour, salt, olive oil, garlic powder, dried oregano, and dried basil. Stir to form a sticky dough.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Let the dough rise in a greased bowl covered with a towel for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
- Fold in half of the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan into the risen dough.
- Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or greased loaf pan. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Brush the top with melted butter, sprinkle remaining cheese and herbs before baking.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
