- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, fresh parsley, ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly without overmixing.
- Wet your hands and form the chicken mixture into 10 to 12 oval-shaped patties. Arrange them on a platter.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes, lightly brushing the surface with olive oil.
- Place the shaped kofta onto the preheated grill. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through, checking for an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
- Prepare the garlic yogurt sauce by mixing plain yogurt, lemon juice, and salt in a bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Remove the kofta from the grill, let rest for a couple of minutes, and serve with garlic yogurt sauce on the side.
