Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat the Pan: Warm a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté Shallots and Garlic: Add shallots and sauté for 1-2 minutes, then add garlic and red chili flakes.
  3. Deglaze with Wine: Pour in white wine and simmer for 2-3 minutes until reduced by half.
  4. Cook the Gnocchi: Boil salted water, add gnocchi, and cook for 2-3 minutes until they float.
  5. Add Tomato Paste and Seasoning: Stir in tomato paste and Italian seasoning, then add 200ml of water.
  6. Incorporate Spinach: Add spinach and stir until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Melt in Cream Cheese: Fold in cream cheese and stir until melted; adjust consistency with gnocchi water if needed.
  8. Combine Gnocchi and Salmon: Add gnocchi and smoked salmon to the sauce, folding gently to coat.
  9. Serve and Garnish: Serve in warm bowls and garnish with fresh parsley or dill.
