Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the XXL Pizzateig until it’s about 0.5 cm thick and spread half with herb cream fraiche.
- Layer kräftiger Käse and schinken over the herb cream fraiche, mixing different cheeses if desired.
- Fold the dough over the filling to create a pocket, pressing the edges to seal.
- Slice the dough into 8 equal-width strips to create branches of the pizza tree.
- Twist each strip and stack them to resemble a Christmas tree, securing with a skewer.
- Bake for 15 to 22 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
- Brush melted Kräuterbutter over the baked pizza tree for richness.
- Add star shapes cut from the cheese block on top of the skewer.
