- Butterfly the boneless chicken breasts by slicing them horizontally, then season with salt and pepper.
- Layer prosciutto, sliced apples, and sage inside the chicken breast.

- Tent the chicken with foil after removing from the oven to keep it warm.
- Prepare the cider pan sauce by adding apple cider to the skillet and scraping up browned bits.
- Simmer the sauce for about 5 minutes, adjusting seasoning as needed.
- Nestle the chicken back into the sauce to warm through.
- Serve on a platter, garnished with parsley.
