  • 10 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 Shallot finely chopped
  • 2 Bird's Eye Chili chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Light Soy Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Dark Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Fish Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 cup Thai Basil
  • 2 cups Rice jasmine rice recommended
  • 1 egg Egg fried until golden and crispy
For Serving
  • 1 Lime Wedges
  • 1 cup Additional Thai Basil for garnish

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Add minced garlic, chopped shallot, and chopped Bird's Eye chilies to the hot oil. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Introduce ground beef to the skillet and break apart. Cook for 5–7 minutes until browned.
  4. Pour in light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Stir well and cook for another 1–2 minutes.
  5. Stir in Thai basil leaves and toss until wilted, about 30 seconds.
  6. Serve over jasmine rice, topped with a crispy fried egg.
