- Chill the glass by placing it in the freezer for a few minutes.
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle 6-8 fresh raspberries with 1 oz of simple syrup for about 30 seconds.
- Pour in 2 oz of gin and 1 oz of freshly squeezed lemon juice. If vegan, add 1 oz of aquafaba.
- Seal the shaker and perform a dry shake for about 15 seconds.
- Add a generous amount of ice and shake again for 15-20 seconds.
- Double strain the mixture into the chilled glass using a fine mesh strainer.
- Garnish with fresh raspberries or a twist of lemon peel. Optionally, add a dash of Angostura bitters.
