  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Allow at least 10 minutes for the oven to reach the desired heat.
  2. Clean your mushrooms gently using a damp towel. Trim the stem ends if necessary and arrange them in a single layer on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together vegetable oil, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, minced garlic, fresh thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture over the mushrooms on the baking sheet, tossing them gently to coat evenly.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast the mushrooms for 10 minutes.
