  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Consider Neufchâtel cheese for a lower-fat version.
  • 1 cup Gruyère Cheese Swiss cheese or Fontina can be substitutes.
  • 1/2 cup Red Bell Pepper Feel free to swap with other mild bell peppers.
For the Shell
  • 12 pieces Phyllo Cups You can use puff pastry cups.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine onion powder, garlic powder, red bell pepper, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, cream cheese, and Gruyère cheese.
  3. Gently fold in the imitation crab meat into the mixture.
  4. Carefully fill each phyllo cup with about one rounded teaspoon of the crab mixture.
  5. Bake the Baked Crab Bites for about 15 minutes, until the tops are golden and the phyllo cups are crisp.
