  • 1 inch Ginger Fresh ginger if possible.
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Substitute with tamari for gluten-free.
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce Can be substituted with extra soy sauce.
For Marinating & Cooking
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch For marinating and thickening.
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking Oil Peanut, vegetable, or avocado oil recommended.
For Serving
  • 4 servings Rice Fluffy rice or noodles as alternatives.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Marinate the beef strips in a mixture of soy sauce and cornstarch for about 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sauté sliced onions for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Increase heat to high, add marinated beef strips to the skillet, and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until browned.
  4. Combine minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, and oyster sauce in a bowl and stir well.
  5. Pour the sauce over the beef, allow it to cook together for 2 minutes.
  6. Return the sautéed onions to the skillet, mix gently, and cook for an additional 2 minutes before serving.
