Ingredients
  

For the Beef Mixture
  • 1 lb Ground Beef Use 80/20 blend for rich flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Tamari is a great gluten-free substitute.
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar Honey can be used instead.
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil Toasted sesame oil enhances flavor.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced, fresh is preferred.
  • 1 tsp Ginger Grated, fresh ginger is recommended.
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes Adjust to your spice preference.
For Garnish
  • 2 pieces Green Onions Sliced.
  • Sesame Seeds Optional.
For the Bowl Base
  • 2 cups Cooked Rice White or brown rice works well.
  • 1 cup Broccoli Florets Optional, adds nutrition and color.

Preparation Steps
  1. In a large skillet, heat a splash of oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook for 5–7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula until browned and cooked through.
  2. If there's excess fat, drain it from the skillet, then add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for about 2 minutes, until fragrant and golden.
  3. Pour in the soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil, stirring well. Allow the mixture to simmer on medium heat for 3–4 minutes until thickened.
  4. If using, toss in the broccoli florets. Stir and cook for another 3–4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  5. Prepare the rice according to package instructions if not pre-cooked.
  6. Arrange the cooked rice in serving bowls. Spoon the beef mixture generously over the rice.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
