  • 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin recommended
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or fresh if preferred
  • 1 tsp garlic powder use fresh garlic as a swap
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper adjust to taste
  • 6 leaves fresh basil optional garnish

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lay out each slice of prosciutto flat on a clean surface.
  3. Drain excess liquid from the mozzarella balls, slice if larger.
  4. Position one mozzarella ball at the center of each prosciutto slice and wrap tightly.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet, add oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  6. Brush the seasoned olive oil mixture over each wrapped mozzarella bite.
  7. Arrange the bites on the prepared baking sheet with space in between.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until prosciutto is crispy and golden.
  9. Optionally sprinkle with fresh basil before serving.
  10. Serve hot while mozzarella is melty.
