Instructions for Turkey Meatballs
- Prep Your Ingredients: Gather all ingredients needed for the turkey meatballs and dipping sauces. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Set out a large mixing bowl, a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and measuring tools.
- Mix Meatball Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, grated onion, breadcrumbs, oats, Worcestershire sauce, kosher salt, and ground black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape the Meatballs: Roll the turkey mixture into small balls, about 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on the baking sheet, spaced about an inch apart.
- Bake the Meatballs: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Prepare Dipping Sauces: Whisk together soy sauce, mirin, light brown sugar, freshly grated ginger, grated garlic, cornstarch, and water in a saucepan over medium heat until it thickens.
- For the lemon-herb yogurt sauce, mix Greek yogurt, lemon zest, lemon juice, chopped parsley, chopped dill, salt, and black pepper in a bowl until smooth.
- Serve and Enjoy: Serve the meatballs hot with both dipping sauces.
