  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Lime Juice Fresh limes yield the best flavor!
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha Sauce Adjust based on your heat preference!
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Fresh minced garlic can be used for a different flavor twist.
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika Regular paprika can substitute if needed.
Taco Ingredients
  • 1 pound Large Shrimp (peeled and deveined) Wild-caught shrimp are best for flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Can substitute with avocado oil.
  • 4 pieces Corn or Flour Tortillas Opt for gluten-free tortillas to keep dish gluten-free!
  • 2 cups Shredded Cabbage Choose either red or green cabbage.
  • 1 large Avocado Ripe avocados are the way to go!
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro Feel free to skip if you’re not a fan!
  • 1/2 cup Cotija Cheese Feta is a good substitute or omit for dairy-free.

Method
 

Preparation Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, lime juice, sriracha, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Adjust seasoning with salt, and refrigerate.
  2. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. Season the shrimp with smoked paprika, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and add the shrimp in a single layer. Sauté for about 2 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  4. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable. Keep wrapped in a towel until ready.
  5. Assemble tacos by layering cabbage, avocado, shrimp, and drizzle the yogurt-lime sauce. Top with cilantro and Cotija cheese.
