Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pop the popcorn by using your preferred method. Carefully slide the popcorn into a mixing bowl, removing unpopped kernels.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, half-and-half, light corn syrup, and salt. Stir over medium heat for 3–4 minutes until it begins to boil.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and food coloring until uniform.
  4. Pour the pink syrup over the popcorn and gently stir to coat each piece.
  5. Spread coated popcorn onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and allow to cool for 10–15 minutes.
  6. Once cooled, transfer to a bowl or package as a gift.
