  • ¼ cup vanilla almond creamer optional
For Serving
  • 2-3 tbsp homemade cherry simple syrup adjust according to sweetness preference
  • 1 cup ice fill your glass

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of cherries, 1 cup of water, and ½ cup of sugar over medium heat. Stir gently and allow to simmer for about 5 minutes until cherries soften and sugar dissolves.
  2. While the cherry syrup cools, brew a strong cup of coffee. Use about 6 ounces of hot coffee and let it sit for 5 minutes to reduce temperature.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together ½ cup of vanilla almond milk with ¼ cup of vanilla almond creamer. Froth using a frother or whisk for 1-2 minutes until airy.
  4. Grab a tall glass and fill it with ice cubes. Pour in 2-3 tablespoons of the cherry syrup and add the frothed milk mixture slowly to maintain layers.
