Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Soak the rice cakes in warm water for 20-30 minutes. Drain and pat dry.
  2. Heat neutral oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add rice cakes to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Flip the rice cakes and continue frying for another 3 minutes.
  5. Remove rice cakes, lower heat, and add butter, honey, brown sugar, and soy sauce. Stir for 1 minute.
  6. Return rice cakes to the skillet and toss in the glaze for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy!
