Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Stir until well blended and crumbly.
  2. Pour the mixture into a pie dish, pressing firmly into the bottom and sides.
  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until golden brown. Keep an eye to avoid overbaking.
  4. Let the crust cool completely on a wire rack.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and egg yolks until smooth.
  6. Pour the filling into the cooled crust and spread evenly.

  8. Remove from oven and allow to cool at room temperature.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
