Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  2. Spread 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
  3. Place one slice of sourdough bread butter-side down in the skillet. Optionally, add Dijon mustard on the unbuttered side.

  5. Top with another slice of sourdough bread, buttered side up, and press down gently.
